Dutch Belted Family Cow For Sale
We are selling Phoebe, our last prize heirloom breed cow. She is half Dutch Belted and half Jersey, grass fed only, in excellent health and ready to be bred. She is nine years old and should typically be able to give calves and milk for another six years at least. She is currently giving over a 1/2 gallon a day of especially sweet and easy to digest milk. Phoebe is very calm and easy to manage. Even our youngest children have milked her regularly and easily. We regret having to sell her as she has been a valuable member of our family farm. We are moving, however, and cannot take her with us. We are asking $950 for her.
